Off The Record

The whole room knows the chorus.

Off The Record puts a new soundtrack inside the historic Hardware Store building on First Avenue. The 1928 structure, originally the Knights of Pythias Building and later a hardware store, continues its life as a place for people to come together.

Here, that means a shared singalong. DJs guide the music, lyrics fill the screens and friends and strangers join the same chorus. Alongside Barcoa and Intersection’s offices, it adds another use to a building that keeps finding them. The history stays in place while the room finds a new voice.
