With a remarkable track record spanning over a decade, Gonzalo’s expertise in the development realm is nothing short of impressive. During his tenure from 2017 to 2022 as the U.S. Regional Director for Sencorp, an esteemed commercial development powerhouse in South America, Gonzalo orchestrated several complex agreements that solidified his reputation as a maverick in the industry and can be seen to this day as you walk the streets of Roosevelt Row. As the U.S Regional Director, he was also responsible for managing legal issues, human resources, public relations, marketing, post-sales activities, project procurement, leading sales team, as well as, overseeing acquisitions and land dispositions. In essence, Gonzalo’s reach extended into all of Sencorp’s operations in the United States.

Before his rise at Sencorp, Gonzalo honed his financial acumen at Arbor Properties, where he immersed himself in the intricate art of project finance. It was here that he gained invaluable insights into the delicate balance of managing project budgets and optimizing performance to exceed stakeholder expectations.

Yet, there’s a hidden layer to this tale of triumph. Beyond the realm of development, Gonzalo’s spirit was tested on the grandest stage—the Olympics. Representing Chile as a two-time Olympian in the decathlon event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics, he endured the crucible of competition, emerging as a shining example of unwavering determination and the indomitable human spirit.

Amidst the accolades and triumphs, Gonzalo’s thirst for knowledge remained unquenchable. He sought wisdom at Florida State University, where he pursued an MBA with a focus on Business Management and Economics.
