Stoddard House

THE PLACE

The house remains the heart.

The Stoddard-Harmon House has a presence that a new building cannot borrow. Its proportions, roofline and garden setting carry a piece of Phoenix history into a neighborhood that continues to change around it.

We’re giving the house a new use through Ada, a planned restaurant named for Ada Van Sant Stoddard. The project keeps the historic home at its center, with dining spaces that move between the interior and the surrounding gardens.

We’re making room for people to spend time here again, over dinner, a drink or an afternoon in the garden. Warm interiors and shaded outdoor tables will give the historic house a new daily rhythm while keeping its character intact.
